Wintamdouine, the most beautiful grotto of Africa The most famous site of the Souss, is Wintimdouine. It is considered to be one of Africa's most beautiful grottoes. The site includes an underground river 7.5 km long, and offers ideal exploration conditions for speleologists.

There are no particular technical difficulties and although there is a risk of flooding there are several shelters. The sheer grandure of this grotto is its dominating feature as well as the source of the challenges it provides.

Underground lakes,capitals, balconies, curtains, stalactites, stalagmite. Will astonish and amaze you during the entire excursion. You can experience the special environment on foot by either wading in water or on an air chamber ? You will also be fascinated by the traditional baptism of Wintimdouine. It will happen just after the massive scree and offers you the opportunity to smear your face with clay. Prior authorization is required for the visit.
