Language In the Arabic language practiced in Morocco, there is first of all the classical Arabic which is used in education, administrations, as well as the media, and which cohabits with the dialectal, used in everyday life. At the same time, other languages are also used throughout the territory: - The Amazigh dialect is used especially by the population living in the Souss and the Atlas, and it varies according to the regions. - French language is spoken by the majority of Moroccans. - English, German, and a little bit of Spanish are spoken fluently in Souss Massa Daraa region. The rules of etiquette To take off for Morocco is to leave for an agreeable and sweet trip in the heart of a magnificent kingdom in oriental colors and ancestral customs where hospitality reigns. As in every Islamic country, it is good to inform the visitors of the local customs. The welcoming gesture is, par excellence, the mint tea which will be usually served to you. It may happen, and that would be a real luck, that you’d be invited to share a meal with a Moroccan family.
Religion Islam is the official religion in Morocco but other revealed religions cohabit in perfect harmony and their practice is guaranteed by the Moroccan constitution. During Ramadan, days take a slow rhythm leaving the place to beautiful and animated nights.
