COLLECTIVE GRANARIES TATA

Collective granaries of Tata, in the south of Morocco, deserve a detour on the road to Agadir. The Agadir of Aït Kine, restored in 2004 and in 2012 by the Moroccan archeologist Salima Naji, is in the middle of a kasbah. The second fortified granary of the region, the agadir of Isserghin, is one of the biggest agadirs of the south of Morocco. Abandoned since 1997, it has undergone a restoration of its walls and then of the interior of the building in 2012. The objective is to make this important historical site of Morocco a place to visit, complete with a museum. Its hidden well and its mausoleums of saints and sacred zaouias make it a must-visit site of the region of Agadir, to be explored during your next stay in Morocco.
